Mireille Miller-Young is Associate Professor of Feminist Studies at University of California, Santa Barbara and the author of A Taste for Brown Sugar: Black Women in Pornography (Duke University Press, 2014).
Tobi Hill-Meyer is a multiracial indigenous trans woman, a nationally renowned political activist, an award winning porn maker, and a children’s book author. Tobi operates the trans positive erotic documentary series DoingItOnline.com and currently has a survey out to try and make it better.
Nenna Joiner is the owner of Oakland’s community-centered sex shop, FEELMORE510, and has directed award-winning QWOC-focused films. She’s an accomplished speaker (CreativeMornings) and author of Never Let the Odds Stop You.
Cheryl Dunye emerged as part of the 1990’s “queer new wave” of young filmmakers, with The Watermelon Woman. Often set within a personal narrative, her stories foreground issues of race, sexuality and identity. Dunye’s most recent short film is BLACK IS BLUE.
